At 36m², the Lumi is architecturally designed for contemporary living in town or country. Clean lines, generous glazing and a beautifully simple form allow the Lumi to sit naturally in bush, coastal or urban environments.

The Lumi is available in two carefully considered construction options. Choose the warmth and character of a timber structure with natural Nordic Spruce cladding, or the strength and durability of a TRUECORE® steel frame with modern architectural cladding. Both options deliver the same elegant design and layout, allowing you to select the construction method that best suits your location, preferences and long-term plans.

Lumi Cabin Inclusions

Each Lumi cabin kit includes the core structural components required to construct the building shell, together with the documentation needed to support the build. This includes architectural drawings, engineering construction drawings, an engineered subfloor and foundation design, and energy rating documentation where applicable.

Externally, the cabin includes steel roof sheeting with matching flashings and trims, Monument colour roofing, guttering, breathable wall wrap and architectural vertical cladding. Depending on the construction option selected, the Lumi features either Nordic Spruce timber structure and internal wallboards, or a TRUECORE® steel framing system with engineered internal stud walls.

Aluminium framed Low-E windows, double entry doors and internal doors with hardware are also supplied as part of the cabin kit, forming the complete external shell ready for local trades to complete services and interior fit-out.

Timber Structure Option

The timber Lumi embraces a warm, natural aesthetic with Nordic Spruce timber wallboards and external cladding, delivering a timeless cabin feel while maintaining the clean architectural lines of the Lumi design.

Pressure-treated timber construction provides durability for Australian environments while showcasing the natural character and texture of timber both inside and out.

This option is ideal for those wanting a classic cabin aesthetic with natural materials and a warm interior finish.

Steel Structure Option

The steel Lumi is built on a TRUECORE® steel frame, offering exceptional structural strength and durability for a wide range of environments.

Externally, the cabin features modern architectural cladding with steel roofing and flashings, creating a refined and contemporary appearance designed to perform over the long term.

The steel structure option also benefits significantly from extended structural warranties, making it an excellent choice for those prioritising durability and long-term resilience.

Our kit-set cabins have everything you need to build your cabin as shown in the photos. Optional extras like bracing, roof extensions, insulation and extra windows and doors can be added after your chosen cabin is selected.
